A spacious apartment complex in a small city. Ravikiran lives on the third floor of a six-story building. Raindrops dripped onto the windows one by one.
Ravikiran is sitting in his room, trying to finish his research on some criminals on his laptop. But his phone rings like a twisted bell. Hema from the other side:
“Ravi… I can’t seem to find the feeling. Even when I call, it switches off. There hasn’t been a proper reply for three days. Something is telling me… something has happened.”
Ravikiran is shocked when Hema says this. Bhavana’s disappearance three days ago seems suspicious. When he checks the public records for news, he finds out that there is a murder case report. Ravikiran starts planning to meet Aditya in the afternoon.
Standing on the balcony of his flat, watching the rain, Ravikiran talks on the phone to his friend Shashi. Shashi is a private investigator. “ Shashi , Bhavana is missing. If you get any information, let me know. I haven’t posted any missing persons, but I’m in the process of talking to the police,” says Ravikiran.
On the third night of Ravikiran’s life, he receives a phone call from Aditya .
“ Ravi Kiran, a girl named Bhavana you know… is suspected to have died under mysterious circumstances. But we cannot officially identify her right now. Her whereabouts are in a building in a slum… If you have any information, please tell me immediately.”
Every corner of the city’s slums is a different world. Swampy clods of earth, dangling electric wires. Ravikiran stepped into this environment.
Hema has also been in agony for three days. While she is worried about Bhavana’s disappearance, Ravikiran is preparing to dig up details with his journalistic skills. No one knows what evidence Shashi has collected.
As Ravikiran steps in, some of the slum dwellers look on with blank eyes. Suddenly, a red bag appears under the trees on a dirt road. No one seems to care. If you ask around, they say no one knows. When Ravikiran takes it out, there are old papers, all kinds of receipts, and a diary-like book inside. Taking it, Ravikiran looks around. There is no good light on that side. A small side path is visible. It leads towards an old building.
Unexpectedly, Shashi appears there .
“ Ravi , why are you here? I also expected you to come. But in these three days of missing, unexpected things have come to light.” Surprise appeared on Ravi Kiran’s face. A nagging feeling was coming from somewhere in his head. It seemed that Shashi had found some important clue.
And then, a phone call from Hema:
” Ravi! You need to go to the building. We took the path that way as a matter of responsibility. Someone is pushing me suspiciously. He’s in the dark room beyond.”
Meanwhile, Ravikiran and Shashi also went to the building together. In a corner, there was an empty bag like an abandoned iron box, and a chaotic interior. Blood stains and wet traces were seen in the small room. The police suspected that it belonged to Bhavana. Ravikiran noticed a piece of paper in the vicinity. It had words like “Mavarit Land Documents…” on it.
At night , Ravikiran, Hema, and Shashi are talking at the police station . Aditya sits opposite, opening the files.
“If Bhavana is suspected of murder, we haven’t found the body yet. It seems that a woman has died but there is information that Ganga has an unusual relationship. In fact, all this is not confirmed at least.”
Hema says, “Bhavana is my childhood friend. She’s not going to do this. Something is up, I don’t know why, I noticed some secret connection. She must have known something big in a new project. It seems like something happened when they were about to be exposed.”
Even though Shashi is silent, his eyes sparkle as if he is planning something on a second level. Ravikiran is suspicious—will Shashi really help, or will he turn into a villain?
A phone in Shashi ‘s hand rings softly and mysteriously. He leans into the corner and speaks: “Yes, I’ll find out. Okay, have the money ready.”
Ravikiran just had to listen, this guy was making a deal.
The atmosphere becomes more tense as the day goes on. Hema tells Ravikiran the information she knows in detail. It seems that Bhavana has worked to prevent data leaks in a big industrial project. The project is said to have involved several crores of rupees in the process. It is said that if those details are officially released, a huge scam will be exposed.
Meanwhile, Shashi’s true feelings are revealed. His mysterious phone calls seem to be linked to money. But he also has his sights set on another mysterious person.
Aditya’s interrogation reveals that Bhavana is not dead. It seems that someone has abducted her, either by force or deception.
But news has surfaced again that a body has been found near the Ganges. Is it really a hoax? Or was someone else’s body put there as a symbol?
Ravi Kiran, Hema, and Aditya meet in a secluded room. Shashi also arrives.
Ravikiran : “We heard that the ‘Mavarit Land Documents’ mentioned last time are related to some big scam. Bhavana might have intended to leak them.”
Hema: “That’s why someone could have stopped her. Not only that, she might have been pretended to be killed and moved to another place.”
At the same time, Shashi gathers all the information and says, “What I know is that there are some big orcs behind this project. I’m trying to sell the information to another group for them… but I really don’t want her to die. I don’t think it’s anything to do with the murders… except for the money.”
Hema stirs from the corner, “Shashi, you are the reason or not… We will really clear all this up today.”
Meanwhile, Aditya gets a call from the police station. He is informed that some suspects have been arrested. As part of this arrest, it seems that Bhavana’s whereabouts will also be known.
It is finally revealed that there is a political element behind Bhavana’s disappearance. Some documents were smuggled out to blackmail her.
During a police operation, it is revealed that Bhavana was abandoned near a factory godown. She is rescued. But she is injured and in the hospital. Hema tearfully takes care of her in the hospital.
Eventually , Shashi, after a brief change of heart, comes forward and offers Ravikiran a pen drive with a video ready.
“This video contains a scam recording. I feel like I was tricked into these matters. That’s why I’m giving this data. Put these things out in the open. Then the false accusations against Bhavana will be removed. The truth will always prevail, Ravi.”
After all this is set, Aditya gets strong evidence. Hema, Ravikiran, and Shashi appear in court together with the evidence. The conspirators face punishment.
Bhavana was in mortal danger but was finally saved. Behind-the-scenes political conspiracies and money laundering will always be present in our society. But there must be people who stand up bravely and bring the truth to light. No one knows when the veil of deceit will be lifted and honesty will ascend the throne. But the point of this story is that such twists and turns awaken human consciousness in a way.
