When Anirudh entered the house again, he was remembering the fight he had with his father over the past week. His father, Shashidhar, had decided in November: “You have to do a Masters in Business Management, that’s all. That’s my order.” Anirudh had a desire to explore something new—it could be photography, it could be travel blogging—but his father wanted to steer him in a different direction.

Anirudh had an amazing memory power. Despite his many talents, following the path shown by his father caused him restlessness. Anirudh did not understand whether this path would hinder him or help him.
On Sunday evening, Shashidhar was sitting in the big hall of the house, holding papers. “Yes, I have selected your admission from this university. After you graduate, you will have to take on our responsibilities,” he said.
Anirudh seemed to listen silently, but an unquenchable dissatisfaction was brewing in his mind. He remained silent, not wanting to continue the argument with his father and fight again.
That night, Madhu called. “Come on, brother, let’s go out. You need to be a little stronger. Let’s have a couple of coffees,” he said. After talking to Madhu that night, Anirudh’s decision became clear: That night, Madhu called. “Come on, brother, let’s go out. You need to be a little stronger. Let’s have a couple of coffees,” he said. After talking to Madhu that night, Anirudh’s decision became clear. “Why should it be like this? How can I move forward if I don’t go beyond my father’s wishes? But if I go without listening to him, where will the peace be in our home?” With these thoughts in mind, he takes out a diary and writes at night.
“I want to go the way I want. But my life is not one that belongs to anyone. I have respect for my father. But what have I done with my dreams? I have created many tomorrows and many works of art so far.” With these thoughts swirling in his mind, Anirudh fell asleep.
Later that week, Anirudh went to the university to pay his fees. Despite his father’s insistence, there was a new excitement in the university campus. As he entered the cafeteria, his mind was somewhat cheerful. While some of the students around were sharing laughter, others seemed busy with projects, which seemed like another avenue for new enthusiasm.
As Anirudh was sitting in the corner drinking coffee as classes were about to start for the semester, he heard a sweet voice. “I forgot my wallet by that door, please take a look there,” a girl said to her friend. Hearing those words, Anirudh saw her and thought she was very beautiful. She was shining like a dim light on a lamp. The beautiful smile on her face seemed to radiate a clear fragrance even in the dim light.
Even though the coffee in his hand had cooled down that day, his heart was beating fast. Looking at the way her friend “Saloni” called her, he understood that her name was Hansika. On the other hand, Hansika, who had found her wallet, was breathing a sigh of relief and laughing with Saloni.
After completing the document work in the university campus, Anirudh was walking around carefully when he saw Hansika again. This time she was sitting on a bench, counting the money in her wallet. Okay, he wanted to greet her by saying, “Is there any chance I can remember her?” but he stopped incoherently.
Days passed like mine. Doing small tasks without hurting my father, the atmosphere at home was not sweet but it was going on without any major conflicts. While getting the admission matters sorted out at the university, Anirudh got a chance to see Hansika once again. This time, she also saw Anirudh. Hansika saw a new man peeking out from the other side, even in the small crowd. She even felt a hint of respect in his gaze.
The greetings that began like that were exchanged back and forth. “Hi,” Anirudh stammered. “Hi,” Hansika smiled coyly. He thought that if the same scene happened two more times, there would be a chance for this acquaintance to turn into friendship.

One day, Madhu took Anirudh for a short road trip. With Shashidhar’s help, the two of them went to a nearby hilltop. There, Anirudh was clearly captivated by the beauty of nature. Madhu smiled and advised, “Isn’t everything around you wonderful? Our attention should be on the beauties of this life. Enjoy your new life!” Anirudh‘s heart felt a little lighter.
The night he returned from that trip, Anirudh took up the diary again. I long to meet the person who always leaves a beautiful smile in every visit. Her name is Hansika, but this is not a new feeling, it feels like a soft closeness. “How can I exemplify this feeling?” Anirudh thought, lost in thought.
Going to university after the semester started brought new excitement to Anirudh. Although he wasn’t very interested in business management lessons, meeting new people and the nice environment was changing his mind a little.
Hansika is also studying for a Masters in Communications at the same university. Although the two are in different departments, they sometimes bump into each other in the library and greet each other in the cafeteria.
Once, while walking towards the library, Anirudh saw Hansika, looked around slowly, and was about to make a sudden turn. Hansika patted him on the shoulder again and asked with enthusiasm, “Hi Anirudh, if you have time, I need information for this research paper. Can you help me in any way?”
“Yes?” he said, a little hesitantly. Seeing this, Hansika gave a small smile. That smile seemed like a gift to him.
They were both sitting at the table. In the middle, the conversation took a positive turn. Anirudh asked, “Who lives in your house?” Hansika stood silent for a moment. “Father, my mother died before I was born. “It’s just the two of us. Recently, my father had a health problem, and I’m taking care of him. When he recovers, he’ll go back to our village.” A small sadness hung in those words. Anirudh was shocked. He also lost his mother when he was young, and the pain in his young heart seemed to create a bond between the two.

Anirudh spoke again to break the technical silence between them. “Hansika, do you have any hobbies?”
“Singing, writing short stories. I always find female characters inspiring. And you?” she asked with wide eyes.
“I love photography. It’s fun to capture the world around us through a beautiful lens,” said Anirudh, and Hansika strongly agreed.
The acquaintance that began like that became sweeter day by day. After a week or ten days in the university, the two of them had lunch together one day. Then they exchanged more information about personal matters as well. Seeing this, Madhu, Saloni, and their friends teased them both a little.
Every day when he came home, his father would ask, “How are your classes going? What kind of programs are there?” Since he wasn’t really interested in the course he was studying, he would just leave in silence. But he couldn’t tell him about Hansika. Although he understood that Anirudh‘s life was slowly changing, and even though Shashidhar seemed to be somewhat calm as a father, Anirudh didn’t know that there was something suspicious.
The bond between Anirudh and Hansika is growing stronger and stronger. One day, they were walking in the university garden, talking and laughing beautifully. It was then that Anirudh asked himself: “Is this really love? Or is it just a sweet feeling?”
However, Hansika is incredibly fond of him. Once, seeing him getting wet in the rain, Hansika unfurled a small umbrella in her hand and took him into shelter. The conversation that ensued between them was sweet, and Anirudh felt that the raindrops had made their love a reality.
Hansika is going to read her short story on stage as a performance at a cultural function. Anirudh wants to showcase his photography talent in an exhibit, but he always hesitates because of his father. But this time, with Hansika‘s encouragement, he decided that he could participate in the photo exhibition without telling his father.

During these celebrations, Anirudh‘s photographs were displayed, and Hansika read a short story titled ‘Naa Nooma’ on stage. Many people came forward and showered their appreciation. Anirudh‘s photographs received an unexpected response. The university dean also praised him, saying, “If you do this, you have the opportunity to take up photography professionally. There is nothing that cannot be encouraged.” Anirudh felt a new sense of calm.
Meanwhile, Hansika‘s father’s condition has reached a point where he needs to get checked up once a week again. Like Shashidhar, Hansika‘s father is very fond of his daughter. However, he also has doubts, thinking that some new person has come to visit him. “Hansika, where are you staying this afternoon?” her father asked, but she didn’t give much of an explanation.
Hansika, however, does not want to lose her father in a life without a mother. That is why she does not hesitate to give up everything and serve her father.
What Shashidhar heard from Madhu: “Anirudh was interested in photography and exhibited his photography at the university exhibition.” That’s when Shashidhar got angry and started a big fight at home. “You won’t change, you won’t take my word for it, we lost your mother on this side, and you’re still wandering around aimlessly.” “Are you finally going to give up your studies and go into photography? I’m saying this for your own good,” Shashidhar said, raising his voice.
Anirudh knows that his love is different. But denying his father’s love is a difficult thing for Anirudh to bear. In this time, he does not have the courage to tell Hansika about it. One day, when Anirudh went to meet Hansika, his father found out. A big commotion broke out. Anirudh, who had spoken to his father at home, told Madhuke and said, “I will be out for a while.” Shashidhar was also angry. He did not send Anirudh out of the house, but he remained silent.

Anirudh was worried, “When will I be able to fulfill my dreams? It might be too late by the time my father understands.” Hansika also consoled him by saying, “You should understand your father too.” But Anirudh had made a firm decision. “He thought that even if I wanted to pursue photography and continue my relationship with Hansika, I could somehow convince my father to discuss it.”
Once, Hansika‘s father had to go to a big hospital for kidney treatment. As expected, the doctors said that the treatment costs would be high. But then Anirudh came and stood by him. Even if she kept some of the funds earned through her father, wouldn’t she need crores? Why ask her father for that? Anirudh thought. However, Madhu and Saloni also helped Hansika‘s father to some extent.
In that situation, Hansika understood: Anirudh would really do anything for her well-being. “You are not the kind of person to leave your father. I know that your father may be angry with you, but he will also be safe. It is not right to leave the house now, Anirudh,” Hansika said.
Although Anirudh is angry with his father, he has always said that he wants his father to be the center of his life, but the path he wants to take is different, and Hansika also tells her father to understand.
Meanwhile, despite the high cost of Hansika‘s father’s treatment, Anirudh somehow managed to raise some money. He took up a temporary project with a leading photography company. Gradually, he started earning money. A big question came to Asa’s mind. “If I really continue my photography career, I can create a beautiful opportunity in life after losing my mother,” he thought.
After a few more days of casual banter, Shashidhar’s group called a photography team for a project. He was initially hesitant to know that Anirudh was also part of the team. However, he also learned that Anirudh‘s personal work was different. Calling Aniruddha, his father shouted, “I think it’s better if you stop this. Then you have to take responsibility for the factory, right?”
But this time Anirudh calmly said, “Father, photography is like my life. I will not accept the idea of giving up my dreams. I will not stop studying, I will continue running the backward factory. But don’t tell me to give up the art in my heart. Giving up what I love is not my philosophy.”
Shashidhar paused for a moment. He understood that he could not leave the situation. He too had grown up watching his father when he was young. The decision his son took at the right time was surprising to his father. Then he came to know about Hansika. “Anirudh is with some girl and is wasting his time again.
Unexpectedly, Hansika‘s father spoke to Shashidhar in the hospital environment. Hansika‘s father reassured Shashidhar with his experience.
“Shashidhar, we should let our children grow up. We should give them the power to make decisions. Whether they make mistakes or accept them, life will teach us.
But if we get in the way, anger and pain will remain in the minds of our children. I noticed that Anirudh has a very big heart. He said, “Understand him.”
After that, he called Anirudh and said, “I was completely wrong about you. After completing this management degree, you can continue your photography and the factory as well. I won’t be a hindrance anymore.” He said in a serious but sweet voice.
Hearing that, Anirudh‘s heart skipped a beat. He felt a great honor in reconciling with his father. Immediately, he thought, “Let’s share our luck with Hansika.” As Hansika‘s father was also recovering, one day Anirudh brought Hansika to a beautiful beach.
The wind was blowing in the heat, and the stars were shining somewhere in the sky, which was currently covered in clouds. Looking at Hansika, he said, “Since you came into my life, I have taken a closer look at my dreams. I am lucky to have you.”

Tears of joy welled up in Hansika‘s eyes. Holding his hand, she agreed, “I can assure you of your dreams. Your relationship with your father is becoming sweet again! Now let’s both move forward.”
Thus, the two took their story to a new life with a determined determination. The pain in their throats, the love in their hearts, the support of their fathers, the encouragement of their friends, all stood by them.
What we saw on this journey was understanding love, inheriting the aspirations of our parents, and protecting the dreams in our hearts without giving up. The elders in our house are our guides, and when love truly blossoms, it provides a sweet treat. The Anirudh–Hansika relationship remains a tender love.
